Homesteading
The primary goal of this project is to build a self-sufficient and environmentally sustainable village, where many people can choose to live off-grid, and use permaculture techniques to feed ourselves without having to rely on factory farming and the global economy; a home for generations.
Community is important to us, so we are seeking out like-minded individuals who share those values. We consider this way of life to not only be healthy and satisfying, but also a form of "prepping" for the future. Grocery money doesn't go as far these days, and land prices are skyrocketing. With increasing levels of government control on land use, it will become more difficult to create this kind of project as time goes on.
Rather than waiting for disaster or hard times, we choose to start preparing now, as a group, who can help each other. We believe there is security in numbers, not just physically, but economically. We choose to live this way rather than hiding alone in the woods because we see the value of sharing our lives and having a neighbour who cares.
We also recognize that different people have different ideas and needs, which is why we are sharing this opportunity with others who can benefit from affordable land in an excellent location that suits different purposes.

Prepping, Survival and Bugout Location
Build your safety net in an excellent location, with as much or as little interaction with others as you feel necessary. You will have exclusive use of a plot for a permanent home, or a safe place that will be there when you need it, or any time you feel like it. There is hydro available in designated zones of the property, to be metered at individual residences. Or choose to go totally off-grid, whichever suits your needs.
Hunting or Fishing Camp
For people who wish to build a hunting cabin or bunkie on your own exlcusive plot, and use it seasonally, or any time you feel like it. No hunting will be allowed on the property for safety reasons, but we are surrounded by hundreds of acres of crown land. There are lakes nearby for fishing and boating.
Cottages and Camping
If you would like to build a cottage and use it seasonally, or have a campground to visit as you please, plots will be available for this use. Never rent a cottage or camp site again, it will always be here for you!
Rental Opportunities
Eventually, we might like to maintain rental cottages and campsites for Auxilliary Members and non-members to enjoy.
